Dennis & Nathania — Sapporo
“Their love story began 8 years ago, they went to the same college, lived in the same apartment building and even had the same circle of friends. Dennis was a calm and easy going guy while Nia was an active, organized social butterfly. They were polar opposites and yet they fell hard for each other. It turns out polar opposites not only attract but also compliments each other very well.
Dennis finally proposed to Nia during a family trip to Japan. Nia was caught off guard and filled with excitement she even forgot to say yes! But without even saying yes, deep down in her heart of hearts she never doubted that Dennis was the one for her because he was always there and cared for her even at her worst. It was a long time coming and it's safe to say that their journey was worth it.
My experience with Dennis and Nia was truly exceptional, they were incredibly friendly and we got along so well from the start. From our first meeting with Inggrid our stylist, they were very cooperative and we had the same vision for this prewedding shoot. I also enjoyed the time I spent with them throughout the shoot, they were calm when we encountered problems and we worked together well to find alternatives and solutions.
Thankfully, the pre-wedding session in Sapporo and Otaru went very well with the help of our tour guide Peter. For example, when we were at Moerenuma Park, we did not have permits to shoot there, yet Peter helped arrange things so that we could do the photoshoot without a hitch.
Photoshoots with Dennis and Nia were nothing short from fun and effortless. They were very easy to direct, natural and relaxed, even Dennis who was usually very uncomfortable in front of a camera. Shooting their pre-wedding was an experience that we’ll treasure for a lifetime, and they even called us pre-wedding dream team. We bonded and at some point, I didn't feel like a photographer, rather, a precious friend.
I hope God guides them in this journey they are on because I know there are a lot of trials and obstacles they have to face after marriage. But I have no doubt that they are able to persevere because I've seen how good they are with each other. All the best for the both of you and may God bless your marriage!”
