Timoteus & Gabriele — South Korea
"This photoshoot is the second time I succeeded in capturing my childhood friend’s life journey. I am honored to be a part of their life journey in South Korea. Unfortunately, a week prior to our departure, I fell sick and had to bed rest at home. Even at the D-day, I had to go to hospital. It was truly a burden in my mind.
I wasn’t even fully recovered when we reached Korea. Luckily, Timo and Gaby were very understanding to my condition and even gave me full support and attention. It was very helpful and encouraging for me during the photoshoot and gradually set me free from my worries. Those three days of photoshoot was very enjoyable. I feel like having a vacation with my close friends and I was able to capture this joyful moment with my camera.
There was this one unique habit that we had during this pre-wedding photoshoot, which is taking an afternoon nap in the apartment. This helped us to boost our mood and spirit to resume the photoshoot. Hehehehe.
I also adore the fact that Gaby spend a great effort to take a makeup class, which was clearly shown by the result of her makeup that perfectly matches her personality.
It was effortless to see and capture the chemistry between Timo and Gaby. They obviously love each other and support one another. It was quite frequent to see Timo helped Gaby put on her shoes, fixing her long dress, and even applying her eyelashes. On the flip side, Gaby was able to understand Timo who gets hungry easily. Therefore, Gaby would always take Timo to get some snacks in between every photo session.
During our trip, there is one particular event that was very memorable. We ran out of idea on where to do the photoshoot, since it was raining that day. We decided to go to a university called Ehwa University and did the photoshoot there. Timo and Gaby surely drew public’s attention, and they were drenched. Even so, they were still smiling, enjoying every second of the moment. At the end of the day, it was us who are so grateful for being able to capture such a precious and unforgettable photograph."
